We finally received the keys on our forever home last Monday thanks 100% to Jess! As a first time buyer, after losing in bidding wars with another broker, I had started to feel hopeless about being able to buy in our first choice neighborhood. Jess helped us and coached us on strategy, from creatively finding listings, accompanying us to open houses, advising us on when and how much to bid, helping us with recommendations for lawyers and home inspectors, being a shoulder to cry on when houses did not work out and helping us dust ourselves off and get back into the saddle each time. Her detailed knowledge of the block-by-block character of the neighborhood and the quirks of historic houses was invaluable. We had a great experience with Jessica selling our Brooklyn coop. From the beginning my husband and I felt very comfortable with her and her partner. She explained what we needed to do to get the best price for our place and never pressured us to move quicker than we wanted to. Jessica helped us from start to finish, from researching comps to price it right, to staging our apartment to staying on top of our buyers' broker to facilitate closing. Even when our closing continuously got delayed, she helped talk us down from the ledge. Unlike other brokers I've worked with in the past, we never felt any pressure from Jessica to do anything we didn't want or weren't ready for. Buying and selling real estate (especially in New York City) is not a process I enjoy, but she and her partner made it as easy as possible to get through it.
